That salt purifies and preserves? If we are the salt of the earth like scriptures say, what does this mean?

My manners! Welcome to my blog turned website – The Earth’s Salt.

If the role of the salt of the earth is to preserve, and we are the salt of the earth, this means that we have a purpose to preserve God-mindedness and godliness on this earth. If this is something that you can remotely identify with, I’m so thankful that we’re already in this together. If you cannot identify with this or you’re just a young person trying to figure this whole God thing out, that’s fine too. Either way, I’m excited that you’re here!

And since you are, I pray that you find hope, peace, and encouragement on the days that you need it the most. I pray that you will be a beacon of hope, peace, and encouragement to those who need it and to the world by extension. May you and I find the courage and strength to take our place in this beautiful, messy world.
